Job Description


Reporting to the Documentation Supervisor, the Specialist will be required to execute all documentation and invoicing for both North America and export lumber orders.


  • Invoicing of lumber shipments including costing of transportation and other related items for the North American and Export markets
  • Understanding of export documentation and customs compliance requirements
  • Experience with lumber industry ERP systems such as LumberTrack, LISA or similar ERP
  • Strong familiarity with MS Suite of products and intermediate level proficiency with Excel
  • Distribution of invoices and documents
  • Assist shippers with Customs paperwork where required
  • Maintains and organizes Customs records in an orderly fashion
  • Troubleshoot and assist shippers with documentation requirements



Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in Customs Documentation, lumber industry experience preferable
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline preferred

Skills, knowledge and Required Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Previous US Customs experience or knowledge is nice to have
  • Lumber experience is an asset
